If you are only half crazy, we’ve got a 12-week training program to get you ready for a half marathon. Our first destination is the Helvetia Half Marathon in June. After that, there are lots of half marathons around the area and beyond all summer. You may love half marathons so much you keep running or walking with us all summer! And who knows, maybe you’ll catch the bug and want to try a full marathon…

Our next program begins on Saturday, March 30th 2013 at 8am at Portland Running Company’s Beaverton location (Scholls Ferry & Nimbus) and continues every Saturday throughout the summer. The Heletia Half Marathon is on June 8, 2013. After that, you can keep running or walking with us to stay in shape. Enjoy an entire summer of getting in great shape and running and walking with your friends!
Our next award-winning marathon training program starts on March 30th 2013
Portland Fit offers a 32-week training program for runners and walkers of all abilities. Couch potatoes are welcome! Our goal is to get you in the best shape of your life with the maximum amount of fun and support. We train for events like the Rock n Roll Portland Half Marathon, the Helvetia Half Marathon, Hood to Coast, the Portland Marathon, and others.
During our training season (late February – early October), we offer group runs/walks on Saturday mornings led by a team of over 50 Head Coaches, Assistant Coaches, and Medical staff.

Stay in shape during the offseason with our free group runs and walks.
During our offseason (October – February), some of our members just want to keep running and walking. They call it “Stay Fit” and it’s an informal gathering of folks training for other half or full marathons, or just maintaining fitness, or battling the season weight gain that comes from raiding the kids’ Halloween candy, Thanksgiving, and Christmas cookies.
