Bruiser
Hi there,

Unfortunatly, I have injured my IT Band and will not be able to run the Portland Marathon. Is there anyone who would like to purchase my spot for $50, I paid the $85 registration fee. I am a female, 25 years old, I'm not sure if the category matters. I have the reciept you would need to pick up your race packet. Please contact me at bitburke@yahoo.com if you are interested.

Thank you
JimInWestLinn

A cut-and-paste from the Portland Marathon website:

Entry fee is $85 which is non-refundable and non-transferable and can not be rolled over.

I write this as I recline with ice on my knee, an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon on my calendar, and a Timberline marathon entry (Sept. 16) on my Mastercard.

So it goes,

Jim, good heads up for those that want to run under their own name or are unaware of the usual no-transfer clause. Sorry to hear about the knee.
