Hi everyone,
Next Sunday is the walk to d'feet ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease). Many of you remember Colin and what a great member of portland Fit he was. Now he is raising funds for the local chapter that helps people in our comnmunity who have ALS.
Here is a quote from his website:
"The ALS Walk is happening on September 10th in Portland. If you live here, I'd love to have you join Colin's Friends, my team at the walk. If you don't live here, you can participate as a virtual team member or as a donor. I didn't have a team last year or the year before, but I'm ready now. And let's face it, next year's team might have to walk in my memory instead of my honor. So let's do it together now.
The ALS Association of Oregon and Southwest Washington is a wonderful organization that has been a great comfort and help to me as I have lived with ALS for the past two years. It's hard to believe it's been that long.
The walk is one of the fundraising events that supports the ALS Association's services to people with ALS and our families. I cannot even begin to tell you how wonderful this organization is, but let me just say this -- I consider the people there to be close friends and champions. They work tirelessly and maintain the highest levels of professionalism, compassion and integrity in all they do.
If you would like more information or can support us, please go to my website:

P-Fit itself has already made a generous donation but I thought I would plug this on Colin's behalf so that anyone who walked or ran with Colin would have a chance to help.
Thanks,
Rina
