Hi All,

Was there a PFit/VFit group photo taken at the beach? My van left for home before an announcement (if any) was made. I'd love to see how many of us were out there.

By the way, congratulations to all who participated or volunteered. It was a rockin' great relay.

Thanks.

Roy,
I'm sorry you missed out on the group photo. There were announcements made from 3:15 to 6:15pm. I was telling everyone along the route to meet at 6:30pm in front of the stage. Unfortunately only 4 of us showed. Maybe we'll have better luck marathon morning. smile.gif Remember...we meet on the roof top of 24 Hour Fitness located on 4th between SW Columbia and Clay.

The groups generally start gathering around 6AM, so we could get a group picture at 6:15AM. We'll be at Mile 21, the PFit/VFit Cheering area taking pictures also.
Be there with a big smile.gif !

Are we all wearing our Portland Fit shirts then so we are identifiable? I'd love to have some photos taken but actually don't find the PDX Fit shirt very comfortable.

You should wear a shirt that you've worn on one of the benchmarks. If you're not training in your PFit shirt, don't wear it on marathon day.

I bought a new shirt before my first marathon at the expo, tried it on and even wore it around the house for a little while. (It was pink...super cute.) But by the end of the marathon, I had chaffing under my arms because I hadn't actually tested the shirt on a run. No new is good new...even clothing.

If you're in the picture, we'll assume you're part of Portland or Vancouver Fit. smile.gif

Can we try to get a Photo of benchmark run. At least color groups.
I think we should then photoshop them together.

Ideally, I would like my upper torso attached the the Portland Running Co. "legs" logo. I'd be 2nd from right b/c that's what my leg looks like when it starts to cramp. Who helps wants to be in it?
