Hi everyone:

I have a couple of downloadable Polar heart rate monitors (HRM) still available for the 21 mile benchmark. If you would like to use one for this last benchmark, send me an email requesting a HRM. Please include the date (9/9/06), your full name and the color group that you will be leaving with that morning. After you have completed the benchmark, you will have the opportunity to review your heart rate data. You will also receive the results via email.

This is a first come, first serve offer. I only have four (4) HRMs that have not been reserved.

Sorry, but all the downloadable Polar heart rate monitors are reserved for the 21 mile benchmark (9/9/06). If you would like to reserve one for a different weekend, please let me know. They will be available through the Portland Marathon on 10/1/06.

Hey, Eric! Long time no... uh... bother with silly questions!

But here's one: What's the hot downloadable HRM for tri-geeks right now? I'm assuming a Polar 720i, but you may know of something better.

Thoughts? Please e-mail me at john(at)copysmith.dot.com, if you don't mind.

Thanks a ton!

John:

Where have you been? Your expertise has been missed this year! Are you getting ready for an ironman in 2007?

The Polar heart rate monitor that I recommend for triathletes is the Polar S625X. You can find more information at the following web page:

Polar S625X Web Page

The S625X (MSRP $370) comes with the foot pod that allows you to track your running pace/speed. If you would like the cycling speed and cadence, you can add the Cycling (MSRP $40) and Cadence (MSRP $40) accessories. Polar has upgraded the USB IrDA Interface (MSRP $60) to work better with the S625X.

HeartFit is an authorized Polar reseller. I have all products above in stock.

Email me for more information and pricing.

Sorry for the time-delay gratitude, EL, but... Thanks for the info!
