I'm looking for advice because I have to miss the 21 miler (out of town wedding). The original plan was to try to do it Labor Day Weekend. But, we had a last minute dropout in our Portland to Coast team so I ended up doing three legs for a total of almost 16 miles. I feel fine today, but am still not sure how smart it would be to do the 21 miles a week after the P to C. The week after the wedding will be too late.
I did both the 25k and 30k and felt ok afterward, so am considering just skipping the 21 miler altogether.
I am a purple, this is my first marathon, and my goal is simply to finish on two legs.
