So, I was thinking of doing the Seattle Half marathon on Nov 26th this year. When I looked up the price of the race it is $70. The full marathon is only 15 dollars more. So I was thinking I might just run the whole thing, but I wanted to get some good advice.
1. Is anyone else planning on doing Seattle?
2. What kind of runs should I do between Portland and Seattle runs?
3. Is it too much? I have ran 2 other marathons before this, but never close together. I really want a run to keep me running. I need goals, otherwise I stop or really slow down, I don't want to do that, becasue running keeps me in shape and keeps me at a healthier weight.
4. Has anyone heard about the course? Is it a good one? Hilly? Picturesque?
5. Thanks! smile.gif

I'm doing the Seattle Half. I'll plan on using the PFit schedule between the 21 miler and the marathon as a basis for my runs between the two. The elevation is well described on their website, and it sounds nice with the lake views.

I ran the Seattle half last year...It was a nice course and well supported. I will be out of the country for the PDX marathon so I signed up for Seattle months ago...you can change your registration from the full to the 1/2 at the expo the day before, so...........
