I just printed the schedule for the week of Aug 19-27th and on the schedule, it states that the 21 mile run is on Sept 2nd. I looked at the schedule for entire year and it states the 21 mile run is on Sept 9th. I just want to make sure it is on the 9th and not on the 2nd. I am planning on running it plus my husband has volunteered to do the water station but if it is on the 2nd, I'm not sure we will be able to make it.
Thanks

Hi Cindee,
The 21 miler is September 9th in Portland. When you look at the online schedule, make sure you look at the "weekend date". At a glance it does look like September 2nd but it is the 9th!

Last year's 21 miler was open to anyone preparing for the Portland marathon. Do we know if we are doing the same again this year? Also, the route up to Mt Tabor was a nice change. Any ideas on this year's route.

Last year's 21 miler was a fundraiser for Katrina relief and a bit of an experiment. We don't have any plans for a similar function this season (montly because I won't have time to coordinate anything like that).
Mt. Tabor was a nice change, but I think there might be a conflict with that date. I believe there is another activity up there, but I'll check with the Parks department. It's still a possibility. At this point, our route is still uncertain, but we'll try to come up with a new and fun route.
