I'm wondering if anyone here has aqua jogged before as part of training in addition to road running? I'd like to know what equipment/gear do you need? Besides the ankle weights, do you also need the weight belt and hand weights? What about shoes - aqua socks or aqua running shoes? Or do you go barefoot? How high should the water be and how long should I do it?

Anne,
I saw you had some replies to your post about aqua jogging in the general form. If you have had a chance to get in the pool and try it, could you please post your experience so others can have an idea of what it was like for you. Thank you in advance, I hope the season is going well.
