The volunteers who were out on the 30K course today were wonderful. Thank you so much for your time and for all of the motivation!

It was so easy to just have to think about running and not directions, bathrooms, or snacks. You were all so helpful and a breath of fresh air, thanks!!

I forgot to say thank you to the coaches and assistant coaches too! You are great!

I want to say a huge thank you to the volunteer on the corner of Mill Plain and Ft Vancouver who reminded me that sometimes common sense (my knee is killing me I should stop) should triumph over stubbornness (I've gone 16 miles, what's two more, so what if I can barely walk).

Thank you for the ride, my knee is back to 100% and I can't wait for the next/final benchmark. I know I wasn't in the best of moods when you gave me the ride back, but I really appreciated your kind words and encouragement.

Jarvis--I was that volunteer and I'm so glad you, and your knee, are feeling better! Everyone has a bad run at least once during training, and I'm happy to hear that you're excited for the 21-miler! With that attitude, I know you'll have a great marathon!
