There is not a start time on the schedule for this Saturday's 25K for the purple group. What time are we starting? I was on vacation last weekend so I missed last Saturday's walk. Thank you.

The start time on both the Portland and Vancouver schedule for Week 15, shows the Saturday start times as:

Purple 6:00 & 6:30
Red 6:00 & 6:30
Yellow 7:00
Green 7:00
Blue 7:00

Don't be late. and Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate.

I would also recommend dressing for warm-to-hot weather, as the temps WILL be up there by the time you cross the bridge. This morning at 5:30 it was already 55 degress out, and by 8:00 I was seeing 67.

Look for smiling faces at the water stations to help you along. And remember, thank a volunteer!!

Start times for walkers on Saturday's 25k is 6 a.m.! One start time!

I know that things change but I'm not sure why the schedule can't show the correct 'one start time' for purple on Saturday the 10th for the 25K. This is a fairly important session and I know that sometimes I only check the 'schedule' part of this site to see what time we meet. Is it difficult to change the schedule on the site? I'm not trying to be argumentative, just inquisitive? Luckily I thought that I would log on tonight and check out the General discussion and saw that there is only one start time. Even the replies to this original question indicated two start times.
Hopefully starting earlier gets us to avoid the heat.

Hi David,

I apologize for the confusion. Last week in Portland we announced that we would meet at 6 a.m. as a group to get that early start. Our groups are getting smaller and it seemed the best choice. Hope you had a good walk this morning and all went well.
