I'm feeling great and I don't have any pain, but for the last several weeks (as in, since I've started marathon training) I've been hearing noises in my right knee when I go up stairs. It probably happens other times too, but I don't hear it as easily as I do in the quiet of my staircase at home. It's like a crunchy creakiness and I can feel a little bit of the vibration causing the noise, but it's definitely not painful at all - it's just gross! My knees have made popping sounds throughout my life and occasionally I've hear this creaking, but never as consistently as this is now. Anyway, it doesn't appear to be having an impact on my training, but I was wondering if knees are like cars... If you hear an odd noise, should you have it checked out before it turns into something worse?
Thanks!
