Hi there,
On our recent 9 mile run with the red group I injured my hip flexor. It happened when I took a step that felt like stepping off an unexpected curb, just sort of a surprising feeling. I completed the run without issue, got in my car and drove home, then couldn't get out of my car

. The doctor says I have a strained hip flexor and prescribed crutches, pain pills and physical therapy leaving me out of the game for a month at least. When I'm healthy and ready to get back in the game, how do you suggest approaching the training schedule? After the Helvetia half (which I am not running in), will the mileage go back down again for a while? If so, I'm thinking this would be a great time for me to phaze back in.
Any suggestions and ideas would help!! Feeling lost without running!
