Hi all! I am curious as to what stretches, or things to do, to strengthen my shin muscles. I am tired of the first 30 minutes of my exercise being painful. It seems like once they really warm up, they are fine, but until then....it hurts a lot.

My two cents, from experience. First you may want to ice the calves (front and back) for 15-20 minutes a few times a day. But you need to make sure you stretch the calves. Sounds funny but yes the calves can be the cause. You may want to post on the medical board or stop by and talk to someone from Clearwater on Saturday.
