I was out with the flu and missed the 30K run. I have not missed any training run so far this year. How will this affect my training? Should I try and run longer this weekend or keep with the schedule?

I would suggest you stick with the schedule. It is important to make sure you are fully recovered from your illness. So rest up so you can hit it hard next benchmark.
