I wanted to kick off the discussion about when we should have our 1st trip to Klineline and the celebratory coffee/dinner/pie???

Doug/Randy - Any idea what the lake is like right now?

Not me. But the sunshine does make it more tempting...

Bonnie....It is right now as of 4pm a chilling 49 degrees. Not even I would swim in that temp. Let's shoot for MAY 1st or 2nd for our anual kick off to the 2009 season. Remeber last year and the distance we went the first night? Remeber Ironman CDA last year? Too early to swim.

I'm soooo in. May 1st works great for me - May 2nd not as good. I'll even bring my wetsuit 'just in case' it's too chilly.
Have another new triathlete to join our group too. I'll bring her along.

Can we do it on a non-weekend night Driving up from Beaverton on a Friday/Saturday is crazy time!

How about 5/6 or 5/7? Maybe it'll even be up to 53-55 by then
