I'm curious to see what race schedule people are planning on for this coming up season. Last year was my first year competing and I definately saw what well organized and horrific tris look like. For you experienced competitors, what's your lineup for the year and how would you rate each as far as organization, routes, etc? Your favorite?
Also, after doing a few sprint tris last year, I'm feeling that I'm ready for a good Olympic distance this year. Can't wait!

I'm planning to Hawthorne Farms Sprint (pool swim) on May 3, Blue Lake Olympic on June 14 and Pacific Crest 1/2 IM on June 27.
HFAC is very well organized as is Blue Lake - I've heard amazing things about Pac Crest however this will be my first year racing it so I'll let you know post-race on organization etc.
Have a great season and good luck with your Oly!

As far as Pacific Crest, I did the Olympic tri there last year. It was great, the bike route is challenging but in good shape. The weather can get pretty hot - a good reason to pay attention to your hydration. Very fun, athletic atmosphere! Doug completed the 70.3 there and enjoyed it as well.
