It was a fantastic ride! Sorry to hear you all missed it. It was my third century this summer and I'm so glad I got out there. I love LOVE love my bike. I feel so at home on it now. This was a more challenging course than the last two (both of which were through the Salem bicycle club - this one was not). More hills, which aren't my forte. However, I felt strong and never hit a wall I had to push through. The first two I seemed to hit a wall around miles 55-70 after 70 I would get my second wind. But on this ride I felt good throughout. It was a nice change, especially considering my last Century was only two weeks ago. Glad to see I recovered and glad to see I'm recovering from the adrenal fatigue issues I battled this summer! That was very trying and really frustrating. This Century was the perfect way to end the summer. Marathon training for the Newport Marathon begins the first weekend in November. Woohoo!

I WILL however keep up my cycling (at least spinning) and swimming this winter though. I have to be ready for the first of the tri-season next year!
