I am training for the Pac Crest Olympic, and having never done a triathlon, I signed up for Blue Lake as a warm up...but I wonder if you will be swimming on Thursday or Friday before Blue Lake. I would love to swim with a few people (more so I just don't freak out being all alone in the murky deep) before the actual event.

I just signed up for the Novice Tri-it, I really wanted the transition and open water experience more than distance. I want to save that for Pac Crest 2 weeks later.

I don't own my wetsuit and will be picking up the rental on Thursday, that's why I'm interested in swimming on Thursday or Friday evening.

Christa congratulations on your training and signing up for your first Triathlon! I will be swimming at Klineline tommorow June 6 at 4:30 and Saturday at 6PM. Next week I will be swimming there Tuesday, Weds and Thursday. I am not sure of the times yet but can let you know soon. Thursday would probably be 6 PM. I would love to have another person to swim with I'll post on the board Sunday when I plan my schedule out.

Hi everyone! I've been swimming at the pool now twice a week for a month, got my new wetsuit and am ready to tackle my very first open water swim. However, I don't feel comfortable swimming alone. Are there any organized times, group swims, etc for Klineline open water swimming? I'm looking to swim Mondays and Wednesdays there at any time. If not, is anyone planning on being there this Monday and Wednesday?

I'll be there (Klineline) Monday, Tuesday,Thursday and possibly Friday. PM me for more info!
