How can I find out if I am in risk of mesothelioma? Is there any special procedure(s) to do this?

Go see your doctor if you are concerned. The most common risk factor is asbestos.

Checking with your primary doctor is a good start point if you are concerned with a condition that requires ruling out with any special tests. Lab Corp. is a company that offers testing to identify mesothelioma, many medical facilities use them in Portland. As Megan mentions it is a condition that mostly is generated from a significant exposure to asbestos. Dr. Lindsey is also a good resource to talk with on Saturday if you are at Portland.
