I'm travelling to Michigan next week and looking for places to run in the greater Detroit area (Farmington Hills to be specific).

Thought I would throw it out there and see if anyone has any ideas - I know it's a long shot!

Actually, I can help you out because I grew up in the metro Detroit area!

Cranbrook Schools in Bloomfield Hills is a great place to run. You can run by Cranbrook Lake and around the grounds. It's flat and full of trees. Should be very beautiful this time of year.

Your friends should know where Cranbrook is, as it's quite a local landmark.
