I just registered for this last night! Nothing like a last minute decision of "Hmm you know, I think I'll run a half marathon on Wednesday".
I've been doing speed training so I'm hoping for a PR....BUT for some reason my first year with Portland Fit I managed to run Helvatia in 2:08 and I HAVE NO IDEA HOW! So, now I have to figure out how to recreate that on a flat course and come in sub 2 hours!

hehe I was nowhere in the same shape that I am in now, so I have no idea how I ran as fast as I did. However, I do remember that I felt like CRAP at the finish line so I guarantee I didn't run it in a good heart rate zone and couldn't have run a mile farther if I needed to. I hope to NOT recreate that feeling!
