Anyone have any suggestion on where I can run in Bend? Staying at Inn of the Seventh Mountain; but can drive to run destination. I really want to try and keep with the Pfit schedule if possible.

Try the USATF website. Here's one that's just a little long...

I just put in Bend, OR from 14 to 16 miles. There were a couple. Good luck!

Nancy:

You might want to consider the Pacific Crest Half-Marathon course in Sunriver.

Just add another 2.5 miles and you have got your 25K benchmark. The course runs through Sunriver, so you are going to have plenty of places to stop and mostly pedestrian traffic to run with.

Thank you mollygail and Eric for the suggestions. I will have to check them out when I get there on Friday and decide my course of action. cool.gif

The Deschutes River trail runs right behind your hotel ... I believe. If not it's very close by and very much worth the effort to find. Anyone in town could tell you how to find it.

I'd also vote for the SunRiver Pacific Crest 1/2 marathon course. I haven't run/walked the other suggestion but I've done the Pacific Crest one a number of times. I usually see deer along the course, it's quite beautiful. The way it's run, around mile 9 is pretty hot. No cover. And the store is close to the start/finish. I'd start early around the 7 mile point or so and that way you could refill at the grocery store and again at your car.

Good luck and remember to HAVE FUN!
