Does anyone know of any good running trails out near Sherwood? I run along Roy Rogers at times, but everything else around appears to be unsafe because of little or no shoulder to run on.

Brian, I live up the road in Tigard. There are some good areas in King City. Durham Summerfield area, Tigard HS, COOK PARK has some trails.

I believe the U PULL IT Auto Wrecking place has some wildlife refuge next to it that has trails etc.

If I were you I'd avoid Roy Rogers due to the speed and lack of attn drivers are paying along that road.

I don't think Fanno Creek trail goes through Sherwood but I'd check out some of the areas down passed the YMCA. There is a nice paved sidewalk all through the neighborboods and it looks great for running. I forget that main road....sunrise?
Seems like a good neighborhood with lighting.

King City has very little traffic and is well lit. You have to move to accommodate the occassional golf cart but it's not bad.

During the day, suggest you take a run to go explore.

Thanks Tony. I will check out Fanno creek Park sometime. Unfortunately, the Wild Life refugee does no allow joggers. They say it disturbs wildlife. They obviously have not seen my speed! That would be great for me because I live right by it. Thanks for the input.
