Our goal is to get you in the best shape of your life in a safe, fun, and non-intimidating environment. We have been training runners and walkers in the Portland area since 1998. Since our first year with 500 members, the program has grown to over 1500 members per year as we successfully train people of all abilities to do a marathon or half-marathon.
Portland Fit is a part of the award-winning USA FIT family of training programs. As one of the largest programs in the USA FIT family, Portland Fit is proud to have won the coveted Runner’s World ”Golden Shoe Award” and the USA FIT “Program of the Year.” We were also recognized as the ‘Best Running Club’ in the Northwest by Competitor NW Magazine in their ‘Best of 2011′ issue.
Believe it or not, we’re just like you. We each decided one day that we would like to get into better shape, to make new friends, or maybe, just maybe, to run or walk a marathon! But regardless of the specifics, we all share one common goal – to have more fun.
So if you want to make new running or walking friends, get into the best shape of your life, and maybe even run that marathon you’ve always dreamed about, Portland Fit is the training program for you. Sign up today!

Im looking to join a marathon training group where I can train in hopes of qualifying for Boston. I have run 3 marathons in the past two years. I want to get faster and more consistent with my pace. I feel that a running training group would be VERY beneficial with my goal of going to Boston. Would this training program be the best fit for me?

Yes! Our Green group has a number of runners that have qualified for Boston. The Green coach is Paula (as in RunWithPaula.com) and you'll have so much fun. Thanks for the question.
