Piece O’ Cake Benchmark?…Not Exactly!

A Big Congratulations to all 70+ of you who were out there braving the wind and the rain for last week’s 21 mile Benchmark. It wasn’t easy but everyone persevered, got their head in the right place and finished. This was excellent practice for getting yourself mentally prepared. Anything can happen race day and you should feel much more confident in your ability to handle unforeseen challenges.

A Special Thanks to our Volunteers who helped out. The aid stations and finish line festivities where a welcome treat. Team Jeff and his chalkers where out in force marking the course for us (even though Mother Nature tried to wash it all away). Coach Brian was our Bike Support and Coach Tony saved the day with his Dutch Bros Hot Chocolate. Thanks to all.

Want to Volunteer at the Marathon? Portland Fit has the best cheering station right past mile 21. We’ll blow up a big balloon arch and cheer everyone on as they come by. It’s a great place to meet your PFit buddies and walk or run the last 5 with them. Talk to your Coach or to Celia if you’re interested in helping out.
