More Hills

The Portland Marathon is known for the infamous hill at mile 17, where you cross the St. John’s Bridge. Spoiler Alert!  We’ll take on some bigger and better hills during our training so you will be prepared on Marathon Day. Want to look for some other hilly races? Pikes Peak Marathon is probably the toughest combining hills and high altitude. Hatfield McCoy Marathon at the base of the Appalachian Mountains is another great race. Feel like an International Race; try the Great Wall of Great Wall Marathon. Want to stay closer to home? Take a look at the Columbia Gorge Marathon.

It’s fairly certain that these won’t be your fastest races, but they just might be your best accomplishments! And, as we all know, bragging rights are every bit as important as that medal around your neck!
