Marathon Day: Help Us Cheer!

Are you good at sidewalk chalk art? How about building massive balloon arches? Every year at the Portland Marathon, Portland Fit sets up a cheering station at about Mile 21. It’s a great place to hang out and watch the marathon. We need your help!

If you are not participating in the marathon, come out and join us. We make a world-famous balloon arch, create sidewalk chalk art, and have lots of fun cheering all the runners and walkers as they make their way toward their marathon goal. It’s also a great place to meet your friends if you plan to run with them for the last 5 miles.

If you have questions please contact Celia @ PortlandFit (dot com). She can give you all the details. Or just come out and join us. We’ll be there all day. If you want to help build the balloon arch or decorate, we get started at 7:15am.
